The
MPC Program has medical and dental practitioners and pharmacists as
the target audience in the current phase. It would include other categories
of health professionals in due course.
The MPC Program is run on a five-year cycle basis. Medical and dental
practitioners who acquire a total of 250 credit points within the five
year cycle would receive a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of
CME/CPD (CME/CPD certificate). For pharmacists, this target has been
set at 125 points.
Certificates
for Attending CME/CPD Activities
The
certificates that practitioners submit to the CME Center should
clearly state the CME Category and the credits that may be claimed.
All
accredited CME/CPD activities conducted in Kuwait are registered
in the MPC Program, under Category 1 or Category 2. Activities
held abroad will be considered under Category 2 unless an approved
CME authority has assigned them to a category that is accepted
within the scheme in Kuwait.

at the end of the five-year cycle;
2. CME/CPD
Status Certificate

practitioner and issued when required by the administrative authorities
for decisions on appointments/promotions or when practitioners terminate
their services in Kuwait.
