All aspects of the administration of KIMS fall within the purview of its Secretary General, who is appointed to the post by HH the Amir of Kuwait, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health. The overall policy of the Institute is laid down, and plans for achieving its objectives are developed by a ten-member Board of Trustees. The Secretary General also receives consultative and advisory counsel from the Medical Advisory Committee, the Academic Council and the Accreditation Committee. Administrative Structure of KIMS
